May 16th, 2008The little sleepy town of Osoyoos just woke up after a long winter of being quiet. We are now again a busy little town - Summer crowd has arrived and it is simply wonderful. The Temp soared to a plus 37 degrees Celsius and the heat feels great. We were ready for sun in the fun or should it be fun in the sun, Oh well, Osoyoos has it either way. Getting off the subject of real estate in Osoyoos just a tad, new arrival at Bart Farms on May 15, 2008 see attached photo. Sunny, cold, hot and mixture of unusual weather in the sleepy little town of Osoyoos today.
This week has brought us a mixture of unseasonal weather. Blossoms continue to pop open daily along with the real estate market springing back to life. We have had a few weeks of activity so things are waking up.
Mariposa Gardens is planning to open Sept 2008 designed to meet the needs of seniors living in the South Okanagan region of B.C. Many rooms offer lake and mountain views. Located in sunny Osoyoos.

Shocking sad new in Osoyoos. Deepest condolences go out to Joan Murdock and family who lost their Husband, Dad and Grampa, Murray Murdock, last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Joan and Family. Celebration of life to be held at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club on May 4, 1-3 pm.
